SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP,I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY YOU TUBE APP WHEN I SELECT A VIDEO TO PLAY I ONLY GET THE SOUND AND NOT THE VIDEO,IT'S VERY ANNOYING I USE YOU TUBE A LOT!!!!

First off, quit screaming at us. Stop the caps.  Wink

Are you using the youtube app or a browser to see the videos?  Have you updated Flash from the market?

Hi first off sorry bout the caps, Wink I am using the you tube app,I have updated  flash,updated the app,uninstalled reinstalled still nothing it will play the occasional vid ok but hardly ever won't play any of my subscriptions!!!

try using the browser and see if it will play through it. You could also try another browser and see if that helps. If not you may have bigger issues. Has you system been recently updated?

Thanks for your help guys,app still not working but  youtube in the browser is fine so am using that now,but still would like to know why the app is not playing ball.....

Do you have a proxy set up in your APN that could be blocking the youtube app? Have you tried using the app with wifi?

Edited the first post to alter the topic title.

"Please help" is not too informative.  Topic titles should give a clue on the actual problem.  Most people won't read every topic, but if they know the problem and have a solution, they will be more likely to look at it.

Go into Manage applications and clear out all data and cache from the youtube app. See if that helps. You could also try an uninstall / roll back. Also try installing from market - see if it installs from there as you may be on a prior version for HTC which isn't linked from the market until you install it from the market.
