This is not really a DHD 'How To.....' as it's something any smartphone could do, I guess. However, I know just how tech-savvy and helpful, all you people are, so it seemed a good idea to pick your brains. Oh! The videos below can/do get boring. You can FFWD at any time!

Practically all of you will have watched Cross-Country Time-Lapse videos such as this one from San Francisco to Washington DC.

Cross Country Timelapse

I have a Speedster

and have often wanted to do something similar, but have been put off by the specialized camera requirement - something like the helmet mounted Hero

However, thinking about it after looking at videos of the Clingo and then buying one, I realized it might be possible to do something similar with my DHD.

I went to the Android Market and down-loaded Tina Time-lapse and it seems to work.

I'm obviously going to end up with millions of single photographs. Any idea how I can assmeble them in something like a 'fast slide-show'?

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

Regards, Mike.

Actually quite a few cameras have that option today.

I would think that most movie software would enable you to import the frames and then generate a movie from it.

I wasn't aware of how modern camera's incorporate this feature, jaamgans. However I am stuck more or less around 1980 - think Rob Reiner's THE SURE THING

I used Windows MovieMaker to edit that Speedster clip. I'll look in there and see if anything pokes me in the eye straight away.

I've been pretty tied up with work this week. Sorry for not replying on this one sooner.

Regards, Mike.
